Who it's for: Anyone feeling stuck, overloaded or carrying a decision, who thinks better on the move than at a desk.
What you leave with: Untangled thinking, a clear next step, and support while you take it.
Every walk starts at the same place. Where we go depends on what you need that morning.

Quieter and cooler under the trees, for the harder conversations.
A short climb with a view at the top, for when you're ready to decide.
We designed Walk & Coach around what research shows about walking and time in nature. Most of these studies looked at walking or nature on their own, not at coaching, so we treat them as good reasons for the format rather than a promise of results.
In four Stanford experiments, people came up with more ideas while walking than while sitting, and the boost carried on when they sat down afterwards. That's why the walk is for exploring your options, and the follow-up sessions are for narrowing down and deciding.
People who took a 90-minute walk in nature went over the same worries less afterwards. A city walk didn't have that effect. If you're stuck on "stay or go, stay or go", a green route helps.
A walk in a park improved attention and memory; a walk downtown didn't. Most people arrive after a draining work week, and the reservoir gives them their focus back for the conversation.
Holding eye contact takes up mental effort, which is partly why we look away when we think hard. On a walk you can think, pause and stay quiet without feeling watched. Many people find career doubts easier to say out loud this way.
Observers rated pairs of walkers as having the strongest rapport when their steps fell into sync. It's an easy, natural way to get comfortable in a first session.
People lean slightly forward when they imagine the future and back when they recall the past. Walking forward while talking about what's next may be more than a metaphor. This one is suggestive rather than proven.
Therapists who use walk-and-talk say movement helps people get unstuck, and that walking side by side makes the relationship feel more equal. They also name the practical questions it raises: privacy, the weather and how to keep the session focused. We agree all of these with you before your first walk. (Revell & McLeod, 2016)
What you say on the walk stays between us. Before we start, we agree what to do if we pass someone you know.
Early starts keep us ahead of the heat. If it isn't safe to walk, we reschedule or meet by video instead.
Comfortable shoes, water and the question you want to work on. No preparation or forms on the day.
Register your interest and we'll be in touch to answer your questions and arrange your first walk.
